WHAT IS PROJECTLIT?
ProjectLit is a national literacy movement committed to empowering young readers and leaders by reading and discussing culturally relevant books and promoting a love of reading. A member of the national organization, Link Community Charter School's chapter was established in 2019 by three Link ELA teachers - Ms. Seegers, Mrs. Lelinho, and Ms. Alston, who continue to facilitate the club's enriching activities. The club meets monthly to discuss a specific book provided by the school. Meetings include book discussion and activities pertaining to the book's theme, plot, or setting.
