Jerry Holley is Newark, NJ native who possesses a zeal for learning and cultivating change throughout Newark and its neighboring communities. He earned a B.A in English and Africana Studies from Seton Hall University and plans to earn his Master’s in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy. In addition, he has taught English Language Arts within the grade 6-12 realm for the past eight years throughout Newark, NJ. He is adamant about challenging our scholars to advocate for the change they aim to see within their respective communities and ensuring that the youth of Newark, NJ regain a sense of pride in regards to literacy. With his great level of confidence and innovation, students will gain a profound appreciation towards the power of literacy.
