Tamia Mottley

Tamia Mottley is a passionate educator, originally from Trinidad and Tobago. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and brings three years of experience in education. Before joining Link Community Charter School, Tamia taught middle school mathematics and Algebra I at Success Academy Charter Schools in New York, where she worked to help students develop strong mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in their learning.

With her background in science and a passion for STEM education, Tamia enjoys making learning engaging, meaningful, and accessible to all students. She believes in creating a supportive classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, embracing challenges, and recognizing their own potential.

Outside of the classroom, Tamiaenjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new experiences. She is excited to be part of the Link community and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her students and colleagues while supporting students in their academic and personal growth.
