Sharon Machrone

Sharon Machrone joined Link in 2004 as Development Assistant, then Development Associate and in January, 2008 moved into the position of Director of Communications. In her role, Sharon is responsible for the School’s website, press releases and advertising, parent communications, social media and print materials, and more. She also handles communications for Link Education Partners, Inc. which provides funds for enrichment programming for students, professional development for staff, and the facilities housing Link’s students. She also manages partnerships with organizations and individuals offering opportunities to Link students — opportunities which broaden students’ horizons and enrich their lives. Additionally, Sharon supports the fundraising efforts of the Link Education Partners Development department. Sharon came to Link with experience in fundraising, program/project/event management and public relations/publicity in non-profit organizations as well as a twenty-year career in human resources management. She holds a B.A. in political science from Drew University.
