Paola Linares has been a Spanish teacher for over 8 years. Prior to moving to the United States from Peru, Paola worked in ornithology and marine biology fields after obtaining her bachelor degree in science at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Perú. She worked with children and families for 25 years in different fields (including Spanish and Portuguese Interpreter/translator for the Early Intervention state program) before she started to teach Spanish. As a seeker, she became a yoga teacher for kids and adults and still teaches every week. She loves nature, the beach, going to museums, art, music, food, and spending time, including road trips with her kids.
Paola’s favorite quote: “Educating the mind without educating the heart is not education at all.” by Aristotle. This quote is the foundation in her personal approach as an educator.
