Maya Buell

Maya is excited to be joining LCCS this year! This is her second year of teaching and her second year in fourth grade. Maya received her B.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from University of Virginia in 2024. During her undergraduate years she worked as a Math Interventionist in Charlottesville City Schools where she also completed her student teaching. She also worked on many research projects surrounding Family Engagement guidelines, best practice in math education, and analyzing effectiveness of online reading software. She is currently working towards a Master’s of Reading Education Program through University of Virginia.
