James McCarren, M.B.A.

James McCarren joins Link with two years’ experience teaching ELA in grades 4 and 5. He entered the field of teaching after a career in business – both profit and not-for profit organizations after obtaining Alternate Route Teacher Certification K-6 at New Jersey City University, School of Education.

James’ prior education included earning a BA in Communication from Rutgers University, School of Communication and Information; an MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business; and a Master’s Certificate, Education For Ministry from the University of the South, School of Theology.

Prior to teaching, James served Managing Director at The New York Times and Director at New Century Education, Inc.
