School Meals Pickup Procedure

SCHOOL MEALS PICKUP PROCEDURE

The Federal Food Program has extended COVID related meals distribution through the end of December. This means that all meals for students are free regardless of families’ free/reduced status and all children in the household under 18 can receive meals as well. Parents can pick up 5 meals per child – breakfast and lunch – on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:00am until 10am and from 11:30am until 2:30pm

We will continue to assess the schedule in light of ongoing guidance from local and state officials

Please adhere to the following protocols to safeguard our community:

Only send one person to pick up the food.

Do not send anyone who is exhibiting symptoms (fever, cough, difficulty breathing), has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in close proximity to someone who has symptoms or has tested positive.

The door will be open and a guard present to help direct the flow. We will limit entry to 8 people at a time, keeping everyone at least six (6) feet apart.

Exercise good hygiene and social distancing:
---As families enter the building, please use the hand sanitizer and limit touching banisters and door handles.
--- As you wait (should there be a line), please practice social distancing and stand 6 feet apart from the person in front and behind you.
