Robin is a teacher in Link’s Kindergarten. She attended college in North Carolina at the University of NC Appalachian. Following graduation, she began her career teaching kindergarten and first grades before pursuing her Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. After 19 years in the classroom she moved on to work as a Literacy Coach in NC at a school for International Refugees. After 21 years in education she moved to NYC to open a new private school on the upper west side of Manhattan where she continued her work in education as a Dean of Students. Robin has spent the majority of her career working with children in underserved communities, has received community grants to create Reading Gardens and has specialized in early Literacy and reading instruction. She is very excited to return to the classroom at Link!
Robin is a proud mother of two girls, one is a nurse and the other is a Senior in high school. When she is not with her daughters or teaching, she enjoys the coast and she also volunteers at Assisted Living Communities in the NJ area where she leads seniors in craft activities and assists in music events.
