Great excitement in Ms. Rofrano’s 7th grade science classes last week! Students performed a play titled “The Awful 8” which “pollutants” protested the Clean Air Act, picketing outside the “Environment Protection Agency building.” “Connie Lung” and “Harry Wheezer,” local TV reporters, interviewed the pollutants one by one, to find out how they “contribute” to the environment. Among the protesters were Carbon Monoxide, Sulfur Dioxide, Nitrogen Oxides and more. What an interesting and fun way to learn about pollution!
