In June, Mayor Cory Booker visited Link and spoke at Morning Circle, inspiring students, staff and trustees. He shared words of wisdom and advice as well as words of encouragement and hope to the assembled group. Mayor Booker has been a long-time friend of Link – a relationship which pre-dated his election as mayor. The audience at circle was awed by the Mayor’s speech and appreciated the fact he took time – 50 minutes! – from his busy day as mayor to visit our school.
