Link Community School was featured in a segment which aired today on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom, with news anchor Martha MacCallum. In the segment, titled “Can charter schools fix America’s broken education system?,” Ms. MacCallum posited that the Link model – academic program and culture – has had a far reaching impact on education throughout the U.S. and has “spawned some of the strongest leaders in reform and charter movement.” She interviewed two former Link principals, Bill Kurtz and Jamey Verrilli, who are among those who took inspiration from Link to found new charter schools — asking them “What are they [Link Community School] doing right?” A lot, it seems!
