Physical Education and Health Teacher
Karen Portuese comes to Link Community Charter School with experience in teaching Physical Education, Health, Drivers Education, and Special Education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Through these opportunities she has developed a variety of teaching styles and techniques when dealing with students. Karen played both basketball and ran track in high school and college. She has been inducted into the Belleville High School Hall of Fame, and nominated as teacher of the year at Saint Mary of the Assumption High School in Elizabeth. A graduate from Kean University, Karen is excited to begin her 10th year at Link!
