Director of Admission and High School Placement, High School Placement Teacher
Greg began his career at Link Community School in 2001-02 as a 7th grade language arts teacher and advisor. From 2002-2007, he served in a variety of capacities at Link, teaching 7th & 8th grade history, facilitating the athletics teams, coaching, and leading the outdoor education program. And from 2005-2007, he served as the Director of Admission & High School Placement. After a four year hiatus from Link, when he served as the Dean of Student Life & High School Placement at Pride Academy Charter School in East Orange, NJ, Greg returned to Link in 2011 as the Director of Admission & High School Placement. Every summer since 1995, Greg has worked at Camp Baco, a resident summer camp in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate NY, and since 2002, has been the Program Director & Head Counselor of Camp Baco.
Greg loves working with and serving middle school families, particularly focusing on 7th & 8th grade families on the journey of exemplary high school placement. He has helped students of all academic abilities gain acceptance and significant financial aid/scholarships to prestigious boarding schools across the country, independent day schools, top parochial schools, successful magnet schools, charter school, and vocational programs.
Greg received his B.S. in Elementary Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH, and has participated in the Leadership For Educational Change Masters Program and Principal’s Institute courses at Bank Street College in New York City. Greg’s hobbies include rooting for his beloved L.A. Lakers, enjoying live music, and spending time with his family and friends.
