Can I apply after the deadline?
Yes, on March 18, 2024 the Newark Common App will open again and you can apply for Phase 2 of the Newark Common App process. Phase 2 is a rolling application process. What if the child I am enrolling has siblings at Link?
The Newark Common App system gives preference to siblings so they are able to attend the same school. You must make certain to indicate on the application that you have another child at Link.
How are students selected?
A randomized computer lottery is conducted to determine placements.
When will I know if my child is selected for Link?
On April 8, 2024, families will receive an email and/or text from the Newark Common App. The email will tell you how to accept the placement your child has received.
What happens if my child is placed on Link's Waitlist?
Your child will be given a spot on our Wait List if not selected in the lottery. The Wait List will be used to fill spaces vacated by students who decide not to pursue a placement at Link or who leave Link during the school year. You will be contacted if an opening occurs.
