Class of ’17 receives record $4.2m for high school!

June 26, 2017 By Sharon Machrone

Link Community Charter School is proud to announce that the graduates in the Class of 2017 have been awarded over $4.2 million in scholarships and financial aid for high school.  This amount far exceeds dollars earned by students in previous years.

The graduates received acceptance into, and scholarships to attend, prestigious boarding schools in the mid-Atlantic and northeastern U.S., including Groton School, Putney School, St. Andrew’s School, Westover School, Cate School , and others.  In addition, students were accepted into and received scholarship and financial aid from private day schools in NJ, including Pingry School, Gill-St. Bernard’s School, Wardlaw-Hartridge School, Morristown-Beard School, Rutgers Prep School, St. Peter’s Prep, Seton Hall Prep, St. Vincent Academy, St. Benedict’s Prep, and more. One hundred percent of Link students were accepted into at least one high school of choice, and many received acceptances into several.

Link’s Head of School Maria Pilar Paradiso states, “We are proud of the Class of 2017 for earning a record amount in scholarships and financial aid for high school. We are thankful for the generous high schools and scholarship programs for recognizing the abilities and achievements of our students.  With the resources granted to them, our graduates will be able to continue to build upon the excellent education they received at Link.”
