Congratulations to Asia Norton, Link’s Class of 2002, who was recently elected to a seat on the Newark School Board, the first board to have full control over the city’s schools in over two decades. She, and two other Newark residents, ran for the board on the Moving Schools Forward slate. All were elected. Asia, whose passion is education and education policy, is a currently a teacher at KIPP NJ. Best wishes to Asia!
