Give Back to Link

Alumni Annual Appeal

You can help your alma mater by making a contribution to support general operating expenses. While we hope you will respond to the appeal sent to all alumni every spring, you can make a gift any time of the year. Tuition is based on a family’s ability to pay and typically that amount is just a small portion of the cost of educating a student at Link. Your gift, no matter the amount, will strengthen Link’s program and benefit future Linkers. Besides a monetary contribution, you can support Link by volunteering at the school. Below are some ways you can help. If you’d like to be included in the Alunmi Appeal or are interested in volunteering, please contact:

Sharon Machrone—Director of Communications | Tel: (972) 642-5343 | Email: link@linkschool.org

Volunteer Opportunities at Link

Event Assistance: Help set up and greet alumni at Link’s premiere of A Matter of Justice on December 5, 2008

High School Night Alumni Panel: Participate in a “Question and Answer” session sharing your high school experiences with current Link students so they are better informed to make choices regarding high school. Dates TBD.

Guest Speaker: Share your success in high school during the High School Prep classes offered in the fall/winter of each year. Help students prepare for the admissions process.

Class Representative: Serve as the representative for your Link graduating class. Help plan and organize reunions and activities, help locate “lost” classmates and share Link news with those who graduated with you.

Alumni Events Planning: Gather thoughts and ideas from fellow alumni and help plan special events.

Alumni Information Gathering: Strengthen outreach by helping the alumni office locate “lost” alumni from all eras, but especially the 70’s and 80’s.

Office Assistance: Schedule some time to assist with large mailings and office work in the school’s Main Office or Office of Institutional Advancement.

Admission Representative:
Help spread the word about Link to area families by visiting your former elementary school counselor to encourage him/her to connect with Link’s Director of Admission.

Alumni Award Judge: Help evaluate the essays written each year for the Link Alumni Award.
