Link Community School announced it will honor Bill Kurtz, a former principal of the school, at the 16th annual A Taste of Newark, a benefit for the school to be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Mr. Kurtz, who served as principal between 1998 and 2004, left a lasting impression on the school, both in programming and in attracting the resources to sustain the school. Additionally he has been a pioneer in education reform.
