This fall has been a very busy time for our 8th graders as they began their high school search and application process. Link offers tremendous help to students through the high school placement class and individual family meetings with Mr. Greg Silver, director of admission and high school placement. To further arm families for the task, Link hosted a High School Night, when representatives from many high schools – private boarding and day schools, Newark magnet schools, and charter schools  – met with families to discuss what their schools have to offer. Also Mr. Silver took the entire class to Marist High School in Bayonne for a visit so students could see a high school in action and experience a high school visit before their families take them on several more.
Efforts pay off; in most years 100% of the 8th grade class has received acceptances to one, if not more, high schools of their choice and over the past five years, they have earned, on average, $2m in scholarships and financial aid.
